Artist's Comments

This guy is from The Elder Scrolls IV - Oblivion new plugin The Shivering Isles. He is Sheogorath, the daedric prince of Madness, the ruler of The Shivering Isles. The Isles is more or less divided in two - Mania (silly, happy, colorful, mental madness) and Dementia (cruel, sadistic, grey, more physical madness), and the two sides represent Sheogorath's divided personality. Here in this picture the background colors represent the same thing.

This painting took a really long time to finish, and by the end I was really pissed off with all the details in his outfit, and kind of hurried the embroidery and the gauntlets. They don't look as good as they could, but they were really driving me insane so I just wanted to get it over with... :D

Very good, although you should be less harsh on yourself. Now if only HE was the one to try to take over Tamreal, then imagine how much fun the game would be!
